Welcome to the website of the Trout River Environmental Committee Inc.!
The Trout River Environmental Committee is a non-profit community based watershed group located in the South-East New London Bay, near Anne’s land, Cavendish. We have many projects on the go that are designed to help our watershed environment and improve the quality of life for our watershed residents and visitors. We are active in stream enhancement, restoration forestry, research, fish counts, education, and community. We hold regular meetings, put on educational workshops, and film nights in the community. Please see our calendar for times and dates for our regular activities.
